There are about forty physiotherapists at Diacor. We have four physiotherapy units in the Helsinki metropolitan area for both the area’s occupational health care needs and the need sof our own medical centres. These are situated in Hakaniemi, Itäkeskus, Pitäjänmäki. and Tikkurila.
Occupational physiotherapy
An important aspect of physiotherapy is occupational physiotherapy. The aim in occupational physiotherapy is to foster the employees’ physical ability to perform their duties and to forestall any possible factors decreasing their ability to perform at the workplace by conducting a survey of exposure risks and other health risks together with health care professionals and the workplace organisation. Occupational physiotherapists are professionals in the area of occupational physiotherapy, with basic physiotherapy training supplemented by further training in occupational health care. Diacor has just under twenty occupational physiotherapists serving the needs of our clients in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
