This medical centre has been operating at the Alppikatu 2 address since 1990.

Immediately adjoining the medical centre we have both the hospital’s outpatient department with its extensive examination and treatment possibilities as well as MRI examination facilities. The outpatient department of the hospital also includes ophthalmologists and an eye laboratory, and childlessness examination and treatment.

Doctors facilities and the treatment unit are located mainly on the 1st floor of the medical centre. The medical centre has about one hundred doctors and a nursing staff of sixty. All fields of specialisation are represented, including less common ones such as such as endocrinology, cardiology, gastro-surgery, and plastic surgery. Special know-how is available in sports medicine, orthopaedics, and geriatrics. There are twelve occupational health care doctors and thirteen nurses. Alppikatu is also one of Diacor’s vaccination units (for appointments for vaccinations, please call 7750 7870).

The 2nd floor houses the laboratory and the digital x-ray equipment, which is also where mammography images are taken and ultrasonic examinations are made, and treatment is administered under ultrasonic control. The 2nd floor is where medical physiology examinations are conducted, e.g. heart and circulation and respiratory examinations as well as neuro-physiological examination. For appointments for medical physiology examinations, please call (09) 7750 7471 (Mon-Thu 8 am – 3 pm, Fri 8 am – 1 pm).
